Temptation

Working with people who were trying to give up smoking. Talking about temptation. We looked at the temptation part of Luke's Gospel.
It was fascinating to see how people reacted when I suggested they put themselves into the story. We talked about temptation and how and why the temptations come. Just at the end I asked them what it would mean to them to be able to resist temptation always. One person immediately said it would be life changing. Then they stopped, and said "I just felt something" pointing to their chest. "I don't know what, but when I just said it would be ‘life changing' it felt like electricity". They were buzzing. So was I!
