Stop
Using the ‘say it how it is' 2 Kings session (Mess & Mistakes & Muddling through): Jane's boyfriend bought a van, she's lent him some money; she is uncomfortable, feels trapped. In the session she came across the stop sign. She heard about God saying that he was not happy with the way people were behaving. It was an entirely new concept. It had never occurred to her before that she had both the right and the power to simply say 'no'. On the Friday she came in and said to Vic, ‘I've done it. Got the money back and never saw him again'. It became new a feature of her life; she's since made other choices on that basis.
