Learning To Pray

Learning to pray

One lady came in to a session and immediately asked us to pray for a relative of hers who has secondary cancer which had been diagnosed as terminal that morning. It was great to see that she approached us to pray rather than us asking for requests. This led to me asking the whole group for prayer requests which included one mother's baby who is in hospital again, someone's partner in court the following day, a lady going through a difficult time who couldn't give details, another mother whose son was at the police station that morning after smashing a window at school. It was great to pray over these real life situations that were very current in their lives. Only update at present is the man in prison has another hearing on the 11th November but I did do a session with interactive prayers at the start of November which went really well. If I'd done the same 12 months ago I don't think they would have engaged with it the same.
