Making Connections
We started by looking at pictures like tapestries, looms and unfinished mosaics, talking around feeling small but part of a bigger picture. Then we shared 1 Corinthians 12:12-27. I had purchased a blank puzzle. We talked a bit about being connected and how to feel connected as we took a section of the puzzle and decorated the pieces. Then once everyone had finished, we put the pieces together to make one large, jointly decorated puzzle. The women praised it and felt a sense of accomplishment. They each took a blank puzzle to work on at home. One of the women who I was hoping would start to relax and open up a bit more seemed a bit more talkative and open that night so that felt like an answer to prayer.
